I know this is a little bit late, but I really want to write about all the wonderful things we did for Christmas this year. Especially visiting family in Utah! To kick off the season, Landon, Olivia and I set up the tree while we watched the Christmas devotional. Every year the 1st presidency of our church speaks about Christ and Christmas. I really liked when the president of our Church, Thomas S. Monson, said this,

"There is no better time than now, this very Christmas season, for all of us to rededicate ourselves to the principles taught by Jesus Christ.

Because He came to earth, we have a perfect example to follow. As we strive to become more like Him, we will have joy and happiness in our lives and peace each day of the year. It is His example which, if followed, stirs within us more kindness and love, more respect and concern for others."

Here is our beautiful tree.

We left for Utah after Landon finished his finals and we had so much fun. Although we were sick for the first week, we loved seeing Landon's parents and family, my siblings, and meeting up with friends! And visiting with Uncle Lloyd and Aunt Paula of course. We were glad we stayed for so long, because after we all got over our colds and flus we did so many great things!

On Christmas eve we made gingerbread Nativities, talked about the stories of Jesus, and got jammies from Landon's parents. Livy looked too cute. Thanks Papa and Grandma!

Christmas was so fun and Olivia loved every minute of it. Well she didn't really know what was going on, and she actually got pretty sleepy while we were opening presents, but she still REALLY loves Christmas. Duh. I really loved Landon's family's tradition on Christmas morning before opening gifts. We all sat down together and watched a Nativity video. It was a perfect way to start the morning.
Then we went upstairs to see what Santa brought on Livy's 1st Christmas!

Cam was very helpful.

We were all too spoiled. Thanks everyone, it was such a great Christmas!
The rest of our trip will be blogged soon!
